How soon does Rick answer?
Within 48 hours. That's the window Rick has committed to, and the clock starts the moment your payment goes through. If it lapses without an answer, you're refunded in full, automatically — no form to fill in and nobody to chase.
On a real question, when am I charged?
This demo question is free. On a real one you'd pay $40 when you send it, and Rick still wouldn't receive it then — they're only paid once you accept their answer, or 24 hours after it lands if you haven't flagged a problem with it.
What if the answer isn't a real attempt?
Once an answer lands there's a 24-hour review window before the money moves. If the reply is blank, off-topic or plainly automated, use "Report a problem" in the thread and the payment stays on hold while we look at it — if we agree the question wasn't genuinely answered, you're refunded in full. An honest answer you happen to disagree with is still an answer.
Can I ask a follow-up?
Yes — 5 follow-up questions are included for 14 days after your answer, at no extra cost. You can also send up to 2 extra messages while you're still waiting, for context you forgot to put in the first one.
Is $40 the final price?
Almost — $40 is what the question costs, and your local sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. The exact total is shown before you confirm, so nothing reaches your card unannounced.
Who else can see my question?
Only Rick. Your question, anything you attach and the answer stay in your thread — nobody else can open it, and Rick sees your display name but never your email or payment details. Our team reads a thread only if you report a problem with an answer. A review you leave afterwards appears on this page as a rating and comment, without your name.
