How much can I charge?
You set your own rate, in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, ZAR or AUD, and you can change it whenever you like.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. No monthly fee, no listing fee, nothing upfront. Revvice takes a flat 20% commission, and only from a question you've actually answered — you keep 80%. That 20% covers the card processing fees as well, so nothing else comes off on the way to you. Answer nothing, pay nothing.
When do I actually get paid?
Once you answer, there's a 24-hour review window, then the payment is released and shows as owed to you. Payouts are made on the 1st of every month, to the payout account on file.
What if I don't get to a question in time?
You choose the response window yourself — most creators pick 48 hours. If it lapses, your follower is refunded in full, automatically, and you simply don't earn on that one. There's no penalty and nothing to pay back.
Can I pause when I'm busy?
Yes — one switch stops new questions arriving, and your link keeps working for anything already in flight. Turn it back on when you're ready.
Do I need a big following?
No. This works on trust, not reach. A few hundred people who take your advice seriously will out-earn a large audience that only scrolls past.
How do I answer — do I have to sit at a desk?
No. Paid questions land in your inbox with everything you need, and you reply from your phone in text or voice. Your follower can send screenshots and voice notes too, so you're not guessing at the problem.
Can people keep asking me questions after I've answered?
Only as far as you allow. You decide how many follow-ups are included in the price — from none up to five — and they stay open for 14 days after your answer. After that it's a new question, at your rate.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes. Your name, what you help people with, your rate and your response window — then your link is live. There's nothing to build and nothing to maintain.
What about tax?
You're responsible for your own tax affairs on what you earn. On the buyer's side, anything outside South Africa is charged through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which handles local sales tax at checkout.
